Curved optical fibre 202911

This fiber model allows the student, using a laser beam, to highlight the total reflections in an optical fiber from end to end and with virtually no loss. Its curved shape demonstrates its ability to transmit information despite deformations. Thus, a link can be made with the fiberscopes based on an optical fiber and commonly used in medical diagnostics. The plastic used has an exclusive composition making it possible to clearly visualize the path of a laser beam, including with a 1 mW laser.
